The Electric Reliability Council of Texas has announced the release of a mobile app that alerts users to periods of high demand and calls for conservation — usually between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on hot summer days. The mobile app was developed for both Android and Apple devices and is available in the Google and Apple app stores.
