Denton police release suspect info in CVS robbery

Denton Police released today a description of the suspect and security camera video of an aggravated robbery reported about 1:20 a.m. Saturday at the CVS Pharmacy on W. University Dr.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic or Asian Indian male in his mid 20s to early 30s, 5’9″ to 5’10″ tall, and weighing 165-175 pounds.

The suspect has thick dark hair, with light to medium skin tone. He wore a long-sleeved polo shirt in light blue and white horizontal stripes, tan shorts and black shoes.

He spoke with a slight accent and held his hand at his right waistband as if he had a weapon, but, according to police, no weapon was displayed. His face was covered with a light blue bandana.

After demanding money, the suspect fled the store on Elm Street, the west side of the building, and ran north.
